According to her Facebook page, Karen David will have a recurring guest role on Castle.

exactly, anon 4:28. Max could be a girl's name and young gaybies (people who are new to the gay scene or in the closet) often hide behind gender-neutral names so it could fit.

another rumor was that there was/might be a pregnancy, if it's not the Ryans or Caskett ('because even though they're together they're not getting any actions because they're always being interrupted), what if it's Alexis who has been involved with her college professor and this other girl is just the friend who has been helping her deal with it before Castle finds out.

Why do too many people think that having sex in a couple is equal to porn channel?
DeleteTwo people in love are making love because they want it and they need it!! Not to see Caskett having sex on screen is the Marlowe's choice, maybe cause he's afraid of shocking.
IMO, he should show just a little bit more than what we see and he should get to a little more sex tension, a little more hotter scenes.
And I can tell you, guy, no need to get to porn channel!!!
Because two people in love, expressing that in the most primitive and natural way possible, ought to be something they do without an audience. Behind closed doors. People watching it is what makes it porn. Really, you don't need to see it and, frankly, it's not the tone of this series to do it. Plenty of other series do sex it up, but castle never really has.
DeleteThere seems to be an assumption in some corners of this fandom - as expressed so eloquently by Anon 9.39pm - that, because we're not actually seeing them getting down and dirty, they must not be doing it. No; we don't see it because we don't need to. Simple as that.
I don't mind admitting that I'd like to see another scene filled with the same sort of longing/passion as shown in Always, but I know it's not something we can have every week because, if we did, where do you then go when you *really* want to make your audience gasp?
I'm more than happy to wait until the time is right - narratively - for that scene. Because I know it will happen because people want it to and will have way more impact when it does.
Despite what some people seem to think, AM does actually hear the fans and gives them what they want; he just doesn't give it to you all in one go.
I've been in lots of fandoms and shipperdoms for over 20 years now; I've only ever once seen a shipper relationship come together as well as this one is right now. TPTB haven't cocked it up and that's something to be very grateful for.

DeleteYou know, I'm not a shipper but I really love Castle show and I really like the way Marlowe led the relationship between Castle & Beckett from the beginning.
What I just wanna say is that there's been moments in the four first seasons which were emotionally very strong as they weren't a couple.
When the season's 4 eps 19-20-21 (22?)have been played (for me, some of the best eps ever), many fans have been insulting, threatening and so on... because there was a dark, violent tension between the two that revealed to everybody (themselves too) the great density of their feelings and the possibility that everything could stop!!
The 4x23 great finale and this beautiful kiss is one of the most wonderful scenes of the show.
Now, they are together, and you're right, Marlowe will take time with them but I'm sure that he will have to give & show, one day, a little more sexual tension because their relation will gonna need a little more "violence" to remain believable.
For the moment, a simple smile, word, kiss just makes us happy. Someday, we'll need more than just romantic side....but no porn.....I just don't need to see them naked....I just wanna feel physical love!!
Alexis getting pregnant would be the most hilarious/stupidest decision the writers ever made. All I want to see is Castle and Beckett in a normal couple situation. Even if it's just a 3 minute scene or so. I don't think that's too much to ask. We haven't actually seen them wake up together since 'Cuffed' which aired 5 months before they hooked up. For anyone who says "this a procedural, what do you expect", I've read more interviews than I can count where Andrew Marlowe has said he thinks of the show as more of a murder mystery romance than a police procedural. The relationship should be the driving force of this show, not just hinted at now and then with a few almost/interrupted kisses thrown in for good measure.

DeleteI'm quite happy with the level of relationship stuff we've had this season so far. Actually, if anything, I've missed a little bit of the banter (which has been missing the last few episodes) between Castle and Beckett, and I think they need to find the even keel with that, but overall I am happy with the hints of their relationship we have had.
I think the problem with giving us the smoochy stuff in every single episode is that it leaves you nowhere to go. Always leave your audience wanting more; that's what make 'em come back week after week. We'll get "more" you can be sure of that.
Rick and Kate's relationship has always been fairly central to the show, that's for sure, and you can be sure it will continue to be so; but every single moment of every single episode can't be about them... hah, when it has been, people have moaned that Kate's being insecure or Rick's being an idiot or... #nopleaseingsomefolk.
Just keep the faith because I reckon we've got some totally squeeworthy and jaw droppingly awesome stuff to come from the relationship.... er, although, you may not get the porn some people seem to want. ;-P
