Can someone wake me when the good stuff comes back...
Kidding! The trouble is that the good folk at Castle have set the bar too high by constantly having episodes that pack a punch, one way or another. So when it's just a good solid ep, we get a little antsy and demand, "Amaze me, thrill me, dazzle me, inspire me!" or some such thing.
Actually this episode should center on castle and Beckett with the case as well. And we haven't even seen the peeks or anything. So please let's not start this again.
Remember to keep this show we have to watch but live. It needs the ratings. If you skip out just because its not what you want then you will miss out on the good stuff.
Just be patient. We will get what we want we just have to wait. I want castle to go on for a while. Please stand by me.

Are you serious? How are people upset from 20 seconds of footage saying that this is a BORING FILLER EPISODE....how can you possibly know that? What you really mean is theres no Caskett I'm going to have a whinge and skip this week, Honestly.....nobody was complaining back in Season 1 OR Season 2 when each week it was all about the case and it was well before Caskett came along. I love Caskett hell I'm one of the biggest shippers out there, but my life doesn't end when god forbid the show focuses on a case since its a Crime Procedural show. I think the premise for this episode is awesome, Beau Randolph gets murdered. Castle and Beckett interviewed him in a previous episode a couple of seasons ago and Castle made a comment about he hopes Alexis wouldn't end up on College girls gone crazy. I like references to previous events it makes things more realistic. Castle is a solid show; I'm not saying that EVERYONE has to like EVERY episode ALL the time but what is up with people not even giving it a chance anymore. I'm sorry but it really frustrates me.
Well said! I love Castle and Beckett together, it adds a lot to the show, but I was hooked since day 1, when there was no romance, due to the show being a crime drama (I love that kind of shows)... I´m not anxious for this episode (as I wasn´t for last night), but doesn´t mean I won´t watch, I always do (not that I matter in terms of ranking, being european). And sometimes those episodes turn out to be good ones (last night wasn´t a favourite, but I still liked it)...
11.45 I wasn't aiming that at you by all means I could tell yours was tongue and cheek :-D it was sparked due to the very first comment "great another boring filler episode", now I know we are entitled to our opinions but like I said, how can you make that judgement from 20seconds of footage. Wait until you watch it and then cast judgement. How can you cast judgement on something you have no intention to watch cos you don't like the promo. I am yet to watch last nite's ep as I'm in Australia and will be watching it shortly but just because it's not a Caskett centric episode I still plan to watch and enjoy it. If I cast my memory back over the seasons I think I could single out two that maybe I didn't enjoy as much as the others, Castle is such a solid show but it seems that ever since Marlowe gave us what we all wanted the fandom has warped and twisted itself into some kind of affection hungry monster. This show has always worked on the idea of subtext. Just because we don't see them kiss every episode doesn't mean that when these fictional characters go home to their fictional homes and fictional lives every nite that they don't kiss. When Beckett was in a relationship with Josh I'm sure she spent more time with him that the handful of scenes he was in on the show. The idea is that their relationship is evolving behind the scenes and Marlowe chooses to let us see the most interesting and important developments because he's telling us a long and elaborate story cut into 23 short pieces.
As fans we wanted to get them together. Marlowe did that for us. So now its business as usual. Only now there is no bantering or flirting hell he dont even get coffee anymore.So you fans that want romance you are going to have to look some where else.Just a couple epos ago they would give them looks between them not anymore.
Agreed...for years everyone said "get them together" and "hurry up already" and now that they are together people complain that there is not enough Caskett. Andrew Marlowe does a great job keeping the entire cast involved and fans just need to be patient. If they go all out with Caskett the show will not last for 2 or three more seasons like we all want. So I for one will continue to watch it religiously and enjoy even the slightest nuances of Castle and Beckett as well as Ryan and Espo. Excellent show.
I have been looking forward to this episode for a while. Yes I would like more Caskett moments but sometimes they aren't the main focus. You have to look at the little moments between them as in 5x11. There were Caskett moments but they were very subtle.
1) The show is not called Caskett. 2) Rick and Kate are not the only 2 characters on the show! 3) Just cause the episode doesn't focus on them doesn't mean it will suck. Case in point the last episode. It was heartfelt, well-written, and well-acted. If you think it sucked, then you're blind and unable to comprehend depth. 4) The show was NEVER all about Caskett, so why the hell should it be now? Cause they're together? Please!
Stop being retarded and skipping episodes that DARE to include other characters and story lines. It makes you look childish among other things.
And I'm a diehard Caskett lover. I just understand that the show isn't the Caskett show and I'm not gonna let that stop me from watching episodes of one of my favorite shows.
I just meant that telling all those 'childish' fans that Castle is not just a love story but contains a lot of other good things is what I already wrote many times before and you know what??....They don't care!!
That's why I tell you that I bet you can write it again and again next week, month, maybe next year too. Sorry not having been clear.
